A work in progress.
There's a lot of very cool web sites out there, and this isn't one of them. I'm keeping it simple for now.
I'll add photos; I just really dislike photos of myself...
Hi, I'm Shana.
I quit my day job in 2026 to get away from messy corporate BS. This was part of a chaotic transition from being fully masked and unsustainably miserable back to who I am and what I enjoy.
I now split my time between messy clay and messy personal human stuff. I'm promoting psychological safety for myself and others.
I took a ceramics class or two back in high school and loved it! It's all I wanted to do until I read that it would never pay my bills. I'm back now after 24 years of dreaming about clay arts.
My art barely exists outside my head in 2026. It's a work in progress, and I'm aiming for a balance between functional pieces and eye candy.
There's a studio in Denver that hosts raku workshops, so raku is where I'm kicking-off. I'm designing small dishes for trinkets and snacks. I'm prototyping snail and cat sculptures, carved pumpkins. I also have a huge interest in sgraffito.
Where are you now? Where do you want to be? What's getting in the way?
Would you like some help sorting it out? Would you like some help staying on-track?
Coaching is all about helping people get where they want to be. The process is meant to discover and achieve a person's deeper wants, needs and goals. It's not about giving advice or telling people what to do. It's about encouragement and a safe space for digging deeper, poking holes, and friendly accountability.
Simply, it's a series of good conversations and a friendly debate that helps you do the thing.
