I’ve had a bit of a journey. But then again, haven't we all?
For a long time, I thought it was just me. Facing frequent and overwhelming challenges, I assumed I was just bad at life—struggling through burnout, toxic environments, and constant friction. The puzzle pieces finally came together in my late 30s: late-diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and the cumulative weight of navigating life with the wrong tools and someone else's script.
I spent a lot of time learning how my mind actually works and redesigning my life around my own strengths, needs, and reality. It takes deliberate work, and it changes everything.
From Cleaning Toilets to Designing Databases
My background isn't a straight line, and that's its strength. I worked my way up from bagging groceries and cleaning toilets to building and complex data systems and leading a data team.
Across every role, the real fun was always the people: building strong one-on-one relationships, mentoring, guiding, and listening. I’ve collaborated with everyone from entry-level teammates to division chiefs, meeting people where they are and helping them get where they're going.
The Next Chapter
After a year of deep reflection, therapy, and intentional planning, I chose to step away from my corporate IT career to build a life aligned to my values. Today, I split my time between my ceramics studio—fulfilling a long-held creative dream—and training as a professional coach.
I coach because I know what it feels like to live by someone else's playbook, struggle under the weight of burnout, and face the daunting task of starting over. I know the courage it takes to stop the cycle and build something that actually fits.
